Black powder-coated steel with removable chain. Ball pivot swivel tightens up with allen key (supplied) to position speaker as desired to any angle or height. Bracket can be mounted to stud, brick, plaster or any type of fixture/wall. What I love about these brackets is they they have good sized, square-shaped mounting plate allowing easier installation and concealing your speaker wire and any holes in walls that your speaker wire comes out of. It also allows you to mount two screws just off a stud and hide a typical hole in wall for your speaker wire to come out just beside the stud. I find they are very stylish and practical for all your small satellite speakers or bose speakers yet give a perfect finishing touch to the larger 'bookshelf' speakers, giving you the ability to aim your bookshelf speakers where you wouldn't be able to if they were just sitting flush on the wall on a screw and giving you more directional audio for better sound peformance.

A Testimony on the speaker brackets: "Oh they look nice! No, if there wasn't brackets it would look boring and I'm sure the sound is better - directs to my ear better if that makes sense?" - Kelly, SA
