1. Turn your Computer / Laptop and TV off, Always a good idea when changing cables around. 2. Connect your VGA cable to your computer and TV. If there is no VGA port on your TV you will need an adapter. Older TV's may not have a VGA port. 3. Turn on your Computer and TV 4. Change your TV to the correct video channel for VGA by selecting input source etc. Example, AV1, AV2, HDMI, until you get to VGA. 5. If your computer has loaded and your TV doesn't show your desktop, right click on the computer desktop, choose display settings / properties. Select the Settings tab, it should show the two monitors now. Select the clone setting to have the TV display the computers desktop or dual view to create an extension of your computer screen. Step 5 is just a guide, its fairly similar for most operating systems, just Google it if you have trouble.
