DVI stands for Digital Visual Interface and is now the standard port for connecting computer monitors and PC's. You can also connect your computer to a Plasma via a DVI to HDMI cable. DVI cables provide a purely digital video signal and is not subjected to signal degradation occurred in a analogue to digital conversion. If your connecting equipment has a DVI and a HDMI connection, if possible you're better off using the HDMI because it carries the same video quality plus top of the line audio signal in the one cable. | ||
