Digital Coax Cable 2.5m (Premium)
Product Description
Digital Coaxial Cables deliver optimal surround sound. Use a digital coax/spdifi> cable where you desire true surround sound and not 'simulated' surround sound (filtered 2channel analogue).
Digital Coax can deliver 2ch, 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 formats. Use Digital Coax with Digital Set Top Box, Dvd player, Ps3, Built In HD television, Dvd Recorder, PVR, Computers and Amplifier applications.
Digital Coax cables are a perfect alternative to Digital Optical for 6channel analogue connections.
An example of free technical help provided by cable magic to a customer needing help setting up their home theatre system:"I checked the specs, all good.
PS3 will connect to your Tv via HDMI cable for video HD1080p and connect to your home theatre by Optical cable so you get the 5.1 surround sound.
Foxtel HD, okay since its the HD version, you can run a HDMI cable to your TV for video signal and a digital coax cable to your home theatre for audio. Scart is 'inferior' with the equipment that you have.
So for the summary....
For your PS3 you need a HDMI cable and an optical Toslink cable
For your TV you need a HDMI cable to connect to home theatre
For your Foxtel HD you need a HDMI cable and a digital coax cable."
For the Ipad & Ipod you already have the best cables to use for these (as you mentioned in another email) so I would be lying to you if I said you needed more! But yes I can comfirm for you those will give you the best picture on your tv and audio from your ipad/ipod"
I was wondering if you could help me.
I have:
55 inch NX810 Series BRAVIA Full HD 3D TV http://www.sony.com.au/product/kdl-55nx810
SONY BDVE370 5.1ch Blu-ray Discâ„¢ Home Theatre System - http://www.sony.com.au/product/bdv-e370
PlayStation 3
Foxtel
iPod / iPad
I want to find the best way to connect all of these together with cabling and wireless products.
Ideally I would like to have all audio come from the theatre system in 5.1 sound (via optical connector) and all video through tv (via optical connector).
Can you recommend the best way to connect these and what cables / hardware I require that I can purchase from you?
Regards"Michael, #@$#%^$
